Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a Supply Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our pool of talented candidates for temporary assignments in the Chelmsford area. As a supply nursery nurse, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of nurseries, gaining valuable experience in different environments while enjoying the flexibility to choose your working hours. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality childcare and support children's development in line with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage). Assist with daily nursery routines, including play, learning, and nap times. Create a nurturing and engaging environment for children. Help observe, assess, and record children's progress. Ensure safeguarding and health & safety guidelines are always followed. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to meet the needs of children and their families. Provide support to permanent staff during busy periods or staff absences.Key Requirements: Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, BTEC). Previous experience working with children in an early years setting. Knowledge of EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures. Flexibility and adaptability, as the role will involve working at various nurseries. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
