With a £290m investment and a bold vision, this project will deliver over 700 new homes, bringing state-of-the-art design and community-focused living spaces. You will oversee the external works for this high-profile regeneration that will reshape the area and deliver exceptional homes for families and individuals. Role Overview: We’re seeking a seasoned Externals Manager to lead all external works, including facades, roofing, cladding, balconies, and landscaping. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of these elements on a major development, overseeing temporary works and waterproofing systems, ensuring everything is executed with precision and within scope. Key Responsibilities: Manage all external works, including facades, roofing, cladding, balconies, landscaping, temporary works, and waterproofing. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to drive seamless project execution. Maintain strict health and safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment. Provide clear and accurate progress reports, keeping all stakeholders informed. Take the lead on managing temporary works solutions and waterproofing systems, ensuring their effective implementation. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as an Externals Manager on large residential or commercial projects. Expertise in managing complex external works, including facades, roofing, cladding, landscaping and civils work. Solid understanding of temporary works and waterproofing systems. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines. SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are desirable.
