Software Product Support Engineer – Onsite in Bristol – 6 Month Contract – Inside IR35 – Up-to £68 Per Hour Umbrella – SC Cleared Responsibilities: Delivering technical support to a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business on specific defence Command and Control System applications Debugging and troubleshooting as part of investigations into customer issues Managing and configuring Linux installations Requirements: Experience working with C or C++, Ada, and/or JavaScript, shell scripting languages with a solid background in software engineering Experience configuring and maintaining Linux OSs (Redhat and/or Ubuntu) including Kernel configuration and Kernel test The ability to innovate and think critically to troubleshoot, understand, and develop solutions to complex issues Clear communication skill for the delivery of technical insights to non-technical stakeholders by cutting through jargon
