Job Title: Senior Project Manager – £60M New Build School – Sutton, Surrey Location: Sutton, Surrey Salary: 90K Plus Package Company: Tier 1 Main Contractor Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a £60M new build school project in Sutton, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious Tier 1 Main Contractor renowned for delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction to handover, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest standards. Lead and manage the project team, including site managers, engineers, and sub-contractors, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment. Coordinate with the client, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and manage risks effectively to ensure project success. Manage procurement processes, including contracts and material supply, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, ideally with a Tier 1 Main Contractor. Strong track record in managing large-scale construction projects, particularly new build schools or similar educational facilities. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality standards. Relevant construction management qualifications (e.g., degree in Construction Management or similar, SMSTS, CSCS)
