Service Technician – Builders merchants Circa £34k Monday to Friday, 40hour week, days Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing buidlers merchants who provide a complete one stop shop for their commercial customers. Now looking to bolster their maintenance team with an experienced all round Service Technician Duties of the successful Service Technician will include: Carry out quality checks on inbound & out bound machines & equipment Provide fault diagnostic on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical & pneumatic systems Repair or replace where neded Ensure that planned maintenance initiatives are carried out effectively To contribute to the health and safety of the site Monitor, order & control stock Ensure that ALL SOP's meet health and safety requirements Typical hours, Monday to Friday, 40hour week (days, some flexibility) This is an amazing opportunity to join an award winning employer offering excellent career prospects The Successful Service Technician will enjoy; Circa £34k Required experience & characteristics of the Service Technician Proven experience repairing & maintaining construction equipment (paint sprayers, screed sprayers, generators) Experienced in successfully completing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and / or electrical/electronic engineering environments. Mechanical, pneumatic or electrical engineering-based qualification a distinct advantage Good communication capability Experience of working with manufacturing environments Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
