Business Central Specialist (Part-Time)

Pure Legacy (Pty) Ltd, an international fruit exporter, with their head office based in Paarl , is in search of an experienced Business Central Specialist to join their team on a part-time/contract basis. This role is ideal for an independent consultant managing multiple projects who can provide strategic guidance and hands-on support. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled Business Central Specialist to lead and support various Business Central-related initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with our internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the system is configured effectively to meet our business needs. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Business Central Customize Business Central to align with specific business requirements Provide training and support to internal teams to ensure effective system adoption Develop reports, dashboards, and integrations to enhance business decision-making Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other business systems Troubleshoot system issues and implement enhancements as needed Manage data migration, system updates, and security configurations Stay up to date with the latest features and capabilities of Business Central to recommend improvements. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: 5 years experience in Business Central implementation, customization, and support; Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial modules, inventory management, and supply chain processes; Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and other Microsoft tools will be beneficial; Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; Ability to work independently while collaborating with various internal and external teams; Strong documentation and process mapping skills; Familiarity with system security, compliance, and best practices; Microsoft Dynamics certifications be to the candidates advantage.
