Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking for a skilled Electrical/ Mechanical Engineer to work in their welding machine workshop. About this role: Monday to Friday (no weekends) Working hours 08:00am- 5:30pm Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults in electric and engine-driven welding and cutting equipment Inspect machines when they return from hire to check for any faults. Prepare machines to be ready for hire, ensuring they are in good working condition Ensure all safety standards are adhered to while performing maintenance and repairs Work closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in welding, electrical, or mechanical engineering Experience with welding equipment and cutting tools is highly desirable Agricultural experience would be considered an additional advantage Forklift engineering experience is also a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Good attention to detail and commitment to safety Benefits of working with Driver Hire Southampton: Weekly pay 24/7 support from our inhouse team Permanent position No weekends Onsite parking Full training provided by our client Driver Hire is the UK's largest specialist transport and logistics Recruitment Company.
