This position reports to: Principal Designer Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and integrate the electrical circuit, hardware parts, subassemblies, of assemblies of electromechanical devices and LV (low voltage) Switchboards and products in collaboration with the design team. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Business Unit LV Systems in Dalmine. You will be mainly accountable for: Proposing appropriate lists of materials necessary for design and entering information in the ERP system. Preparing design calculations using standard and non-standard calculation tools. Reviewing the implementation of design by checking the correct component rates. Ensuring continuous standardization to promote the reusability of the developed technical solutions. Cooperating with other teams to ensure the best use of available tools (e.g., software) to enhance efficiency and minimize errors. Continuously optimizing design to meet updated standards, lower costs, and incorporate new products, components and functionalities. Coordinating prototype construction to ensure compliance of the project with the related tests; adjusting designs as necessary based on test results. You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role: Possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a technical diploma in a related field. Demonstrate a strong passion for teamwork, precision, and analytical skills. Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the mechanical/electromechanical design of electrical panels or similar products. Exhibit proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, PDM Solidworks, Solidworks and Excel.
