Senior Quantity Surveyor

The role In this role, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Cost & Project Management business requirements. These projects can range from extensions for small contractors, through to large civils projects, high value buildings to specialist energy contractors and more. Other duties include: Managing costs on a wide variety of projects Offer strategic guidance to clients, including prioritising spending, outsourcing to subcontractors Prepare budgets and estimates and manage onsite costs Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work Performing risk and value management and cost control Advise on procurement strategy What are we looking for? We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a civil engineering background to become an integral part of our team, working with our client on a scheme in Halifax. Requirements: Planning and time management skills Good understanding of civils and construction, ideally with pipeline experience Knowledge of NEC3 and 4 Problem solver with construction knowledge IT skills - competent Microsoft packages included Excel and Project Ability to work under pressure to achieve deadlines
