Asset Manager/Surveying Technician

I am currently recruiting for a Asset Management Officer/Surveying Technician for a client of mine based on the South Coast. The contract is initially a 3 month role but does have the option to extend. My client is looking to bring someone into the service as soon as possible Location: South Coast Rate: DOE Contract: 3 months Key responsibilities: Managing an individual caseload of commercial Council property. To assist with validation of lease records to help populate a new Asset Management System To interrogate our property files / lease and deed records, to validate our leased property records and populate missing information into a spreadsheet for data upload. Using knowledge and experience of commercial property management to report on progress, risks and issues within the portfolio. Conduct visits to Council owned sites and recording the findings and updating databases accordingly. Liaise with the wider Asset Management team. Essential Criteria: Good knowledge of landlord and tenant law. Detailed understanding of legal agreements relating to property, i.e leases, way leaves, easements and licences. Good understanding of insurance principles and how they might apply to Council properties.
