Contract Manager

Contract Manager Northamptonshire £Open salary car/car allowance Fourblue have teamed up with a Multi-Utility Contractor who are looking for a highly organised and proactive Contract Manager to join their leading organisation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that all work tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company processes, standards, and developers' requests. Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager: Oversee all area operations, aligning with the business’s objectives and business needs Lead regular meetings and collaborate closely with the Construction Team, the Planning Team, and the Senior Management Team Track and forecast project budgets, ensuring the Senior Management Team is always informed about current and upcoming projects Manage operations consistently across designated areas, coordinating with the Senior Management Team to ensure smooth delivery Conduct thorough pre-start project meetings to ensure developers and their subcontractors fully understand company processes, legal obligations, and requirements Actively engage with developers’ management teams to ensure prompt resolution of queries, variations, issues, and disputes, always maintaining strong relationships Keep track of project timelines and ensure uninterrupted build schedules for developers Perform regular audits and provide ongoing support for any escalations raised by customers Ensure personal health, safety, and well-being, adhering to all health and safety duties Criteria for the Contracts Manager: A minimum of 2 years’ project management experience within a DNO or IDNO environment In-depth understanding of developer processes and utility installation processes, including Gas, Water, Electricity, and Fibre Knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and regulations SSSTS NRSWA certification EUSR certification A valid driving license If you are meeting all the criteria and keen for a new challenge, get in touch with your full C.V.
