Class 2 Driver

Our client,a leading logistics and supply chain company, is seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5t Delivery Driverto join their team based in Harlow. Successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to various locations in a 7.5tvehiclewhile ensuring compliance with all transport regulations and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 7.5t CVehicle(Category C) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections. Adhere to scheduled delivery times and routes. Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly. Ensure goods are loaded and unloaded securely, with proper handling techniques. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all driving legislation, including tachograph rules and road safety laws. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV license. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card. Previous experience in a similar driving role as a Class 2 Driver . A strong understanding of UK road networks and transport regulations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Benefits: Competitive pay rate of £19.34 per hour.
