Lighting Assessment Technician

Title: Lighting Assessment Technician Location: Near a major airport (Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, etc.) Full Time/Direct Hire Job Summary The Lighting Assessment Technician is responsible for examining and analyzing lighting and electrical surveys. This role requires 90% nationwide travel to job sites for on-site audits. Essential Job Functions Conduct audits and collaborate with sales to define audit scope requirements. Prepare detailed audit reports using provided templates. Maintain clear communication between EMC customers, sales teams, and project management. Schedule and coordinate audit trips. Manage expenses during business travel. Required: High school diploma. 0–3 years of industry experience. Experience communicating with vendors and customers. Valid driver’s license. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical products and lighting controls. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to perform manual labor, including carrying and climbing ladders, lifting up to 30 lbs, and regular bending, stooping, and twisting. Standing for up to 12 hours per day.
