Client Service (and Commercial) Director Our client is a well established (20yrs) multi million £ turnover, award winning media procurement agency, delivering intergrated print, marketing, creative and digital solutions to an impressive & loyal client portfolio. They are looking for an experienced Client Services Director to take the helm of the client servicing team based in Surrey. The role is hybrid but this senior leadership role will be expected to be on site in Surrey for a minimum of 3 days per week with additional travel to UK Sites. Key tasks and responsibilities The primary function of the Client Services Director (CSD) is to be accountable for the strategic management of the contracts for our client services team. This person is responsible for service delivery, people management, client relationships, and financial performance to reflect contractual and group agreements. In addition, it is essential for the CSD to take commercial responsibility for pricing strategies emanating from the client service team, it is also desirable for the CSD to lead on Commercial decisions with tenders and determine in conjunction with Managing Director The CSD will form part of the Senior Management Team, driving the business forward, participating in senior management meetings and playing a significant role in leading and motivating the team. Primary responsibilities -Accountable for all activity with the client base -Engage with other support functions (sales, operations, finance, board) -Lead, drive and motivate the client services team (approx. 25 FTE’s, 4 DR's)) -Co-ordinate resource between multi-site model -Lead commercial strategy from the client services team Financial Accountable for the financial performance of the account management teams Continually seeks to drive down costs, reduce inefficiency Achieve financial targets to reflect contractual agreements with the client Achieve KPI targets as directed by the board Management and operational delivery Responsible for the recruitment and training of the Client Services Team, compliance, development and ongoing management Lead on commercial decisions originating from the client services team and assist the sales team in pricing strategies. Lead implementation of new business accounts to ensure they are fully resourced, and the customer requirements are understood and implemented Ensures contract compliance, best practice and service execution Contributes & operates to Operational procedures and account business plans Responsibility (with Sales) for maintaining and nurturing relationships with clients Analysis of monthly customer and internal MI to ensure compliance to KPIs and SLAs Ensure a positive and prompt response to client requirements; instils in others a passion to exceed client expectations Creates a positive first impression, showing an air of confidence, energy and enthusiasm Determined to achieve results and demonstrates the ability to sustain effort over extended time periods Identifies areas of business resource risk and works to structure teams to ensure balance Ensures excellent customer satisfaction is delivered and that it is measured objectively Experience Required: Extensive experience of print management including; The execution and management of Managed Service strategies Excellent understanding of planning, budget and cost management Ability to develop and execute alternate solutions Working knowledge of the print and display industries Commercial acumen Customer Relationship Management Exceptionally strong man management skills Presenting skills Team management
