Trainee Mechanical Assembler

Established Manufacturer, Distributor and Specialist in the field of pump and system design, requires a Trainee Mechanical Assembler to join their established team. Providing a wide range of pumps for diverse industry sectors, the role of Trainee Mechanical Assembler will be working closely with the Fabricator Welder/Fitter. Successful candidate for the position of Trainee Mechanical Assembler will be previous experience within a mechanical background and health and safety aware. Trainee Mechanical Assembler duties include: Use of Hand and Power tools Assisting with installations Maintenance checks of parts Operate and maintain equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning and safety Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, environmental, and quality standards Skills and attributes required by successful candidate for the role of Trainee Mechanical Assembler: Previous mechanical experience Keen to expand skills High attention to detail Health and safety aware Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Hours of Work: Mon to Thurs 08.00 – 16.30, Fri 08.00 – 15.30 (39 hours per week) Rates of Pay: £12.82 per hour Benefits: 4 weeks holiday statutory days This increases by 1 day each year to a maximum of 5 weeks holiday statutory days Private health insurance after 12 months service There is limited on-site parking Contract: Temporary to Permanent If you have the skills to fulfil the role of Trainee Mechanical Assembler, please APPLY TODAY
