Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Engineer Edinburgh £45k-£50k plus benefits Our client currently has an opening for a Senior Civil Engineer to be based in their Edinburgh office on a permanent basis. The office is split across Civil and Structural sectors and this has been increasing at a sustainable pace over the last few years. The company has an established presence in the central belt of Scotland and have grown to have 6 UK wide offices. WHAT WILL YOU DO? As the consultancy has a wide variety of projects, you will work on such as the design of distilleries, commercial units, small-medium scale residential developments, visitors' centres, net-zero compliant buildings and structures, schools, and several government contracts. SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure highest possible standards are achieve on each project. Liaise with various departments, external clients, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget and to brief. Mentor junior engineers and technicians. Carry out Civil design work using Civils 3D, Microdrainage etc. REQUIREMENTS A degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Proven track record of working in a similar design role. Proficient using Civils 3D software.
