National Account Manager (Foodservice) – Fixed Term Contract to September (Maternity Cover) - King’s Lynn £60,000 Company Car Here’s the deal: one of the UK’s top food manufacturers needs a National Account Manager to step in and keep the wheels turning while one of their team takes a well-earned break. This is a Fixed Term Contract until September 2025, so we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. What’s the job? Managing key national foodservice accounts. Think big-name customers and lots of moving parts. You’ll need to keep them happy, solve problems when they pop up, and make sure they stay on track with contracts, pricing, and delivery expectations. It’s all about relationships here – with the customers and the internal teams. You’ll need to know your way around a negotiation, have an eye for spotting opportunities, and have the guts to make things happen. The Person: This isn’t for someone who’s just curious about account management or wants to dip a toe into foodservice. We need someone who’s been there, done that, and got the foodservice t-shirt. Experience managing foodservice accounts (you know the channel, the quirks, and the customers). Strong commercial acumen – you know how to keep accounts profitable. Confidence, a proactive mindset, and the ability to solve problems on the fly. Availability to start yesterday (OK, not literally, but soon). What’s in it for you? A solid salary of £60,000.
