Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Freelance Quantity Surveyor Location:Wolverhampton Thorn Baker's 5-star house builder is looking for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support with maternity cover. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work for the UK's leading provider of affordable mixed tenure homes, a company which values integrity, caring, and quality in every area. What's in it for you: £300 - £350 per day Immediate start Duration 3 to 5 months 5 days a week with 1 dayflexible working from home Your Responsibilities: Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages. Negotiation and analysis of sub-contractor tender returns. Producing tender analysis for subcontract work packages. Completion of Subcontract orders and variations. Subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts. Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting. Cost reporting and budget control. Attending site project meetings. Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers. Required Skills: Minimum HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent. Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housingdeveloper. Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills. COINs user experience.
