Job Description

The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Durham Constabulary in the new role of Stores Supervisor. Within this role you will be responsible for the management, supervision, allocation and checking of work. You will also be responsible for ensuring adequate supplies of stocked items to enable effective running of the force. You will also be required to co-ordinate and in some cases, lead on, Stores projects, particularly relating to Uniform changes and contracts. What Youll Do You will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of stock to meet both customer and safety requirements by monitoring and maintaining stock control systems. You will liaise with both internal and external bodies and maintain good relationships to ensure a high level of service is provided. What Youll Bring Essential City & Guilds Level III/ A Levels/or BTEC National in a relevant subject or an approved equivalent At least 2 years supervisory experience At least 2 years administrative experience Desirable Previous stores/ warehouse experience If you hold a higher qualification than those required above or minimum 5 years relevant experience, please evidence this on your application and it will be reviewedby our recruitment team.
