Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for an Order Fulfillment & Production Specialist to join our Operations team at the Reggio Emilia location. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely fulfillment of customer orders, coordinating activities across multiple departments to ensure operational efficiency and maximum customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing the complexities of the supply chain with precision and proactivity. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Proactively coordinate with Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and Planners to address order-related inquiries and issues. Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Monitor order status, expedite items as needed, and ensure orders are released for shipment according to deadlines. Support the shipping area by creating and verifying shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Investigate dispatch shortages and take proactive steps to resolve them, preventing future occurrences. Communicate order priorities and relevant information to CSRs and production teams. Coordinate short lead-time customer orders with operations teams, negotiating solutions to meet customer needs while optimizing capacity. Expedite support from relevant departments to ensure on-time delivery of products and information. Monitor and analyze order fulfillment performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement. Assist the Production Planner Leader in releasing, printing, and distributing production orders to the manufacturing area. Minimum Qualifications Educational Background in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). At least 6 years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or a related area, gained in medium-sized, internationally-oriented companies. Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes, including order tracking, shipping coordination, and inventory management. Knowledge of shipping regulations, documentation, and compliance procedures. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and inventory management software to optimize order processing and ensure accuracy. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve issues proactively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers. Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate effectively across international teams.
