Traffic Engineer (TRO)

Our client, operating within the Highways and Transport Planning sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer (TRO) to join their Network Management Team on a contract basis. This role centres on processing Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) for the 25/26 capital programme, which encompasses schemes within TCAP, CRSTS Streets for All, and ATF4. Key Responsibilities: Providing advice on the design and implementation of TROs Supporting TRO processing for schemes within the council's 25/26 capital programme Assessing existing moving traffic regulation orders and producing related technical reports Job Requirements: Experience in developing and amending Traffic Regulation Orders and Moving Traffic Regulation Orders Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Keyline, and Keysign software packages Relevant degree qualification or time-served experience in traffic engineering Strong understanding of traffic management principles Excellent report writing and technical assessment skills Ability to provide clear advice and support on TRO-related matters If you are a qualified Traffic Engineer with expertise in TRO processing and a keen interest in contributing to significant capital programmes, we would love to hear from you.
