Senior Support Worker needed in Halifax £13.20ph with paid breaks Full Time contracted 8pm - 8am shift times Night shifts We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our client’s newly established 12 bed rehabilitation service in Halifax. This residential service offers a vital step-down facility, supporting individuals as they progress towards independence and recovery. In your role as Senior Support Worker, you will play a key part in empowering residents to achieve their personal goals and live as independently as possible. Additionally, you will provide leadership and guidance to the Recovery Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care. Requirements as a Senior Support Worker: A kind and caring person Experience in administering medication Previous experience as a senior support worker Experience working with mental health Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and mental capacity legislation NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care Responsibilities as a Senior Support Worker: Lead and mentor a team of recovery support workers to ensure high standards of care and professional development Develop and implement care plans Support residents with daily living activities Monitor and manage risk within the home Provide personal care and promote recovery-focused practices to help residents achieve independence This is a fulfilling and dynamic role where you will have a positive impact on the lives of individuals within your local community.
