SENCO Location: Solihull, B92 Start Date: ASAP Pay: Day Rate: £180 to £250 Hours: Part-time (3 days per week, 8am-4pm) Contract: Sickness cover until May Half term Are you an experienced and passionate SENCO looking for a part-time position? A well-regarded school in Solihull (B92 area) is seeking a dedicated professional to lead their provision for children with special educational needs. This is a part-time role (3 days per week) covering long-term sickness. About the Role As SENCO, you will: Lead the SEND provision across the school, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Work closely with pupils, staff, and parents to create individualised support plans. Provide training and guidance to colleagues, promoting an inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with external agencies to secure additional support and resources. Host annual reviews and apply for funding bids. Foster an inclusive, emotionally literate environment, supporting children with ACEs. About You The ideal candidate will have: Previous SENCO or significant SEND experience. A recognised SENCO qualification (or willingness to obtain one). Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices. Experience with SEMH and challenging behaviours. Proven experience in delivering creative and engaging curriculum plans. Emotional resilience and the ability to support children with diverse emotional needs.
