Job & Company Description: A multinational company is recruiting for a technically savvy mature professional to join their dynamic finance team on a 60 months contract. The Head of Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for finance, accounting, treasury, legal, tax, insurance, and cost control. The role also involves IT, procurement, and payroll management, depending on local conditions. The person who will fill this role will be able to juggle 20 different balls at the same, therefore will need to hit the ground running from day 1. Your exposure and understanding to production within manufacturing will also assist you ease the challenges of the day to day running. You will be responsible for the following: Financial Strategy & Governance: Aligns local financial planning with company's strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations. Accounting & Treasury: Oversees financial accounting, annual statements, audits, tax returns, and reporting. Manages cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships. Legal, Tax & Compliance: Ensures regulatory compliance, tax reporting, and adherence to corporate policies, including transfer pricing and risk management. Cost Control & Business Analysis: Leads cost accounting, profitability analysis, and scenario modeling to drive financial efficiency and business decision-making. ERP & Systems Management: Implements and manages ERP systems, ensuring process optimization and accurate financial reporting. Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Supervises finance teams, collaborates with global functions, and supports local management in strategic decision-making. Qualifications: Bachelors in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance Extensive knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP experience essential; German GAAP knowledge is a plus. Experience: 15 years experience in finance, with 5-7 years at senior management level. Background in audit firms and multinational corporations preferred. 10 years experience in the manufacturing environment to navigate cost structures, production-linked financial planning, and operational complexities. Skills: Advanced financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting. Strong ERP system expertise and experience with system implementation. Cash flow and credit risk management. Knowledge of tax regulations, transfer pricing, and compliance frameworks. Experience with imports and exports, particularly in managing financial aspects of cross-border transactions, customs duties, and supply chain logistics.
