SIC Academy – Smart Infrastructure Specialist, Sant'Antonio Abate

Location: Sant'Antonio Abate, Italy Overview: Autostrade per l’Italia has organized the fourth edition of SIC Academy (Smart Infrastructures and Construction Academy). This initiative will take place at the Università Federico II di Napoli and will consist of advanced training activities in the field of infrastructure related to the road system (such as bridges, viaducts, tunnels, etc.), combining advanced concepts of civil engineering, management engineering, construction engineering, construction services, and Industry 4.0 (smart infrastructures). Employment and Recruitment: Students admitted to the SIC Academy will sign an indefinite contract for the purpose of employment through an external partner on the first day of the Academy, limited to the training period of the Academy (6 months). The company will provide housing solutions for participants residing more than 100km from the San Giovanni a Teduccio Campus during the 6 months of the Academy. Participants who successfully pass the intermediate test, administered halfway through the training, will receive a commitment letter for employment with an apprenticeship contract (duration 24 months) in one of the companies of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group located throughout the national territory, effective from the conclusion of the Academy. Attendance: Attendance at the course activities is mandatory for at least 90% of the total scheduled hours (in-person). Failure to attend for more than 10% of the total hours dedicated to the training activities will result in automatic exclusion from the course. In cases of poor attendance, lack of progress, or any inappropriate behavior, the participant may be excluded from continuing the SIC Academy activities. Cost: Participation in the course is free as the costs for its implementation are fully covered by the various involved partners.
