About the role: Reporting into the Assistant Chief Concierge, you will be responsible for responding to a wide variety of guest needs and requests, adding your personal recommendations and touches to ensure that our guests receive the highest levels of service excellence. You will handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. What will you do: Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel practices. Process packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner. Assure that desk collateral and information for restaurants, museums, attractions, maps, and other local attractions are updated and current. Know what activities are available in the city (theatre, sports, concerts, shows, special exhibits, sightseeing) and establish close contacts with vendors in these areas in order to provide information, ticketing, and reservations for guests. Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Bellstand, Business Center, and lobby coverage. What you bring: Exceptional communication skills, along with a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence. Excellent Italian and English communication skills (verbal and written). Previous experience in a guest-facing role within luxury front office operations, VIP services, concierge, or equivalent will represent a benefit.
