Psychologist I I (Grade 12) Student Services and Development: Career Centre The Division of Student Services and Development: Career Centre, invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team. Main Objectives The main objective of this post is to provide comprehensive career counselling services to students and prospective students. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for the running of the Career Centre as well as assisting with the supervision and training of intern psychologists at the Counselling Centre as delegated by the Head of the Counselling Centre. The Requirements Qualified and registered counselling psychologist (Masters degree) with at least 3 years relevant work experience over and above their internship. Active registration with HPCSA. Individuals who have supervised interns will be at an advantage. Relevant experience includes: - Any work with adolescents or individuals with respect to Career Guidance. The greater the diversity of this experience the better for example, experience in one-on-one counselling, group counselling, educational work and Psychometric Services Experience in dealing with Secondary School Learners will be an advantage as well as any experience with students at a Tertiary level Application Process It is essential that prospective candidates read the job profile for further information and ensure that all relevant documentation is submitted. Remuneration per annum (Grade 12): Basic Salary Per Annum: R464 758 Cost to Company Approximately: R617 693 All applications will be treated in strict confidence.
