Estimator / QS

Caledonian Construction are recruiting for: Estimator to join our team to work with the Commercial Director on New Build Roofing Projects Roles and Responsibilities: ·Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements ·Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required ·Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices ·Producing detailed Take Offs and Pricing Documents ·Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database ·Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors ·Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met ·Estimating for projects ranging in value from £50k to £5m The ideal applicant will have experience and the following attributes: ·Must have estimating experience in the construction industry, ideally roofing ·Ideally will have experience using Blue Beam estimating software ·Sound understanding of roofing and building legislation ·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal ·Strong numerical skills ·IT literate (Microsoft Office, particularly Excel) ·Confident and articulate individual Salary will be negotiable based on experience Role will be office based in Gravesend, Kent.
