Senior Structural Engineer Overview A leading engineering firm is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Darlington on a permanent basis. You will play a key role in delivering structural design solutions for major oil, gas, and LNG projects. As Senior Structural Engineer you will have the opportunity to lead projects, manage teams, and drive technical excellence in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. Key responsibilities of the Senior Structural Engineer: Leading structural engineering design on multidisciplinary projects Developing and verifying calculations, drawings, and technical specifications Performing structural analysis using Staad.Pro or similar software Ensuring compliance with Eurocodes and industry standards Collaborating with clients, engineers, and project teams to deliver successful outcomes Providing technical support to site teams and subcontractors Senior Structural Engineer required skills and experience: BSc in Structural or Civil Engineering (MSc preferred) Experience in oil & gas, LNG, or petrochemical sectors Proficiency in Staad.Pro or equivalent structural analysis software Strong understanding of Eurocodes and industrial design standards Proven leadership and team management skills If you’d like to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role, contact me for more information
