PHP Developer - eCommerce Platform

A technology services client of ours is looking for multiple PHP Developer to join them on a Contract basis. These roles have high likely hood of being converted to FTE after the initial contract length. Here are more details about the role. Role : PHP Developer. Experience : 5 years. Location : Remote. Notice Period : Immediate15 Days. Job Description :. Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based applications, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices. - Integrate third-party APIs, particularly carrier services APIs (e., DHL, UPS, USPS, TNT, etc.), to enable seamless logistics operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in PHP development and API integration. - Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution to minimize downtime. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability. Requirements : - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in PHP development with a strong portfolio of past projects. - Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic level). - Demonstrated expertise in API integration, particularly with carrier services APIs (DHL, UPS, USPS, TNT, etc. - Familiarity with logistics jargon and business flows. - Experience with e-commerce platforms' APIs such as Shopify, Magento, Woo Commerce, Etsy, Wix, etc. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
