Senior SAP Logistic Consultant

Overview : The Sr SAP Logistic Consultant (MM/SD) plays a pivotal role in the organization by driving the implementation and optimization of SAP logistics modules, specifically Material Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD). This position is critical for enhancing the efficiency of supply chain processes and ensuring that the organization meets its operational goals. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders, including business units and IT teams, to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement effective strategies. This role not only requires technical expertise in SAP logistics but also strong communication skills to train and support users, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the implementation of SAP MM and SD modules. - Conduct requirements gathering and gap analysis with stakeholders. - Design and configure SAP solutions to enhance logistics processes. - Develop and execute test plans for new functionalities. - Provide functional expertise and support during system upgrades. - Facilitate user training sessions and workshops. - Support Data Migration activities and ensure data integrity. - Collaborate with IT team for integration with other SAP modules. - Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement. - Document business processes and create user manuals. - Serve as a point of contact for logistical queries and issues. - Continuously analyze and optimize supply chain processes. - Implement best practices in SAP logistics functionalities. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving user issues. - Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP MM and SD. - Certification in SAP MM/SD modules is preferred. - Strong understanding of supply chain principles and processes. - Experience in systems implementation and change management. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in SAP configuration and data management. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. - Project management experience is an advantage. - Knowledge of integration with SAP S/4 HANA is a plus. - Experience in logistics process optimization. - Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis. - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. - Willingness to travel as required. - Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
