Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: Who are we? We are a supported Living Service with ages that range from 18 to 56 We all have different challenges in our lives that makes us unique from learning Disabilities, Mental health disorders, and anxiety disorders Our staff are trained in a number of courses as well as a Mental health foundation course to meet our needs What is important to us? Some of the things we like to do is go out walking, we have a little walking group and go to different areas to walk around parks and walking routes. We like to go shopping in the surrounding areas. We all have different interests, and they can vary, we are always open to new ideas of things we can do We all have different level of support needs and like to go out with support as well as independently what's important to us is that we always feel listened to and our independence is respected as well as encouraged We would like people that join us to be patient, kind, and fun. We would not enjoy people that are in a rush and can be loud and speak over us. Any other important information ? We have 3 to 4 members of staff on duty during the day and 2 waking night staff Our Shifts are 8am to 8pm day shifts and 8pm to 8am night shifts, so you must be flexible to work both days and nights. Your values: We know it takes a special person to work in social care and we recognise that not everyone that would be perfect for the role, will have professional experience.
