This role will be based primarily at their head office in the West Midlands, with occasional work at a second nearby site. Senior Quality Engineer - The Role: As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional quality standards and driving continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining FMEA's and Process Quality Plans. - Creating APQP documentation for new projects. - Standardizing procedures and ensuring compliance with internal processes and standards. - Managing customer complaints and internal non-conformance using 8D and other problem-solving methodologies. - Leading improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance efficiency. - Conducting audits, spot checks, and contract reviews. - Designing packaging specifications and delivering staff training. Senior Quality Engineer - What We're Looking For: - Strong engineering background, ideally in a machining or manufacturing environment. - Experience in APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, Six Sigma, and Gauge R&R. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - A proactive approach to motivating teams and driving continuous improvement. Hours: Monday to Friday, day shift (39 hours)
