Job Title: Site Engineer – Earthworks Scheme Location: Southampton, Hampshire Contract Duration: Immediate Start – October 2025 About the Project: Our client, a leading sub-contractor , is currently recruiting a Site Engineer to manage the engineering aspects of an earthworks package for a project in Southampton. This exciting project, which involves large-scale earthworks, will run until October 2025, and the successful candidate will be required to manage all aspects of site engineering, ensuring the successful completion of the works on time and within budget. Site Engineer Responsibilities: Reporting directly to and working closely with the Project Manager and Foreman Managing site setup and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations Completing all setting out associated with the earthworks package Ensuring quality assurance and control throughout the project Assisting with the coordination of the site team and monitoring project progress Managing site records and ensuring accurate reporting Site Engineer Requirements: Valid CSCS card SMSTS or SSSTS certification – desirable but not essential Previous experience in earthworks engineering Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant time-served experience Strong understanding of site engineering principles and techniques Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently What to Do Next: If you are an experienced Site Engineer with a passion for earthworks projects, please click on the “Apply Now” button below and submit your CV for further information.
