Data Analyst

This is a 12 month contract with johnson & johnson. 100% remote. All visa - No H1B. Linkedin and short write up. Try to find candidate i NJ near area. The Consumer Health R&D Data Analytics team is seeking two data analysts to support their Data & Analytics Service capability. This team is supporting various functions (Sales, Marketing, Legal, R&D) with data & insights requests related to R&D. The team is primarily supporting their Product Data Health initiative; J&J has made substantial sustainability commitments to their consumers about their products (free of parabens, safe on babies, made of recycled materials, etc.). This team helps support these claims by investigating data to confirm the validity of sustainability claims. When a request for data is submitted, this individual will connect with the requestor to gather more information on what they are looking for. Work with technical SME's on data discovery efforts; identifying if the data exists and where it resides Leverages SQL skills to query various databases or data lakes. Cleanse and massage data as needed by utilizing Alteryx Must be comfortable and strong with Excel, as most business partners are used to receiving data in Excel format Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is a plus; there may be reoccuring requests that they'd want to create a standard report for. Must have excellent communication skills and the courage to talk to different people. They should be able to admit if they don't know something and be willing to solution Must be adaptable, "Scrappy", with the ability to zoom out to understand the big picture and solution HM NOTES: This is a data analyst/engineer role and they MUST have strong SQL experience. Since this is in the "business technology" organization, they also need strong communication and business skills. This is not a heads down analyst.
