Clinician Fostering (Resilience) Part-Time (18.5 hrs/week) Slough Children First ?? Salary: £23,391 - £25,926 ?? Location: Observatory House, Slough ?? Contract: Permanent | Part-Time Join 'Foster with Slough' - an innovative and fast-growing fostering service rated 'Good' by Ofsted (2021) We work closely with professional foster carers to ensure Slough's most deserving children and young people are safe, happy, and thriving. We're looking for a dynamic and creative Clinician (Resilience) to provide therapeutic support for Resilience Foster Carers-our newest initiative helping children transition from residential care into loving family homes. About You: ? A confident and outgoing individual with a deep understanding of fostering and the needs of 'Cared for' children.? Passionate about therapeutic interventions and supporting foster carers to provide the best possible care.? Skilled at working independently, thinking outside the box, and building strong relationships.? A team player with a creative, empathetic, and solution-focused approach. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist therapeutic support to resilience foster carers managing children with complex trauma needs. Offer consultation and intervention to foster families, helping them build secure attachments. Support children transitioning from residential care into family homes, ensuring their stability and well-being. Work closely with foster carers and staff, delivering innovative strategies to enhance resilience and care quality. Promote a culture of safety, security, and therapeutic growth within fostering placements. Qualifications & Experience: �? A degree in psychology, social work, psychotherapy, counselling, or a related field.?? Registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP, UKCP, or Social Work England).?? Experience working with children and young people with complex trauma.?? Strong background in therapeutic interventions, resilience-building, and multi-agency collaboration. Why Join Us? ?
