If so we are recruiting for an Outreach Support Worker working with vulnerable adults in the community Our client is a non-profit organisation working with people to support their health and wellbeing. Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its boarders. The team has a ‘can do’ attitude and often works long term with people where mainstream services are not appropriate. They offer a range of services which includes assertive outreach and support packages for people who are hard to engage with. Services include teaching life skills, socialisation, finances and paperwork, maintaining clients homes environment and they also work with hoarders. Using a keywork approach you will be responsible for all aspects of delivering the service in 1-2-1 regular support provisions, working in line with care plans from commissioning services. Over time you will get to build relationships of trust, always remaining non-judgemental and taking small steps to make a difference. It is an extremely rewarding role working with vulnerable individuals in the community. This post is subject to a DBS check.
