Job Description
Are you an experienced Sustainability Manager in Construction passionate about driving Sustainability initiatives and Environmental standards? Sustainable Futures Group (SFG) is excited to be exclusively partnering with a leading Construction organisation in London who are going through an exciting period of growth to recruit for their first in house Sustainability Manager to work as a pivotal role within their company. This position offers the unique opportunity to take the lead on Sustainability from day one within the organisation with essentially a blank piece of paper to create a strategy and vision for the organisation moving forward. The role is based from their London head office with regular travel to sites within the London area and with the flexibility to work from home. The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for: Offering pre-construction and onsite support for Sustainability certifications, including BREEAM, SKA, LEED, and WELL Providing training to internal staff and project teams on a range of Sustainability topics Assisting in embedding robust procedures to support delivery teams in achieving Sustainability goals Providing specific support for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and tenders Supporting and managing carbon targets and initiatives, including accurate reporting To be considered for this role, you should have: Previous experience in Sustainability management within a Construction / Fit Out environment, particularly around BREEAM, bids and tenders and carbon A recognised certification such as LEED or BREEAM AP Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain sustainability concepts and to present to various internal and external stakeholders Be a self-starter, with the motivation and ambition to deliver within a fast paced and growing organisation What’s on offer: A competitive basic salary of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience An expansive benefits package including a bonus scheme, private medical insurance for you and your family, life assurance, income protection and a competitive pension scheme The opportunity to work on a range of diverse and prestigious Construction projects across London A varied role with genuine opportunity for growth and career progression within a rapidly expanding organisation If this opportunity aligns with your career goals, please apply now through our retained search partners Sustainable Futures Group
