Domestic Electrical Supervisor – Social Housing Location: Sandwell, West Midlands Salary: £42,000 Van Fuel Card Benefits We are recruiting for a Domestic Electrical Supervisor to join an established electrical contractor working on social housing projects in the Sandwell area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor to oversee electrical teams and ensure high-quality work across domestic installations and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Supervise and manage a team of electricians working on social housing contracts ✅ Oversee electrical installations, testing, and maintenance works (kitchens, bathrooms, rewires, smoke alarm upgrades) ✅ Ensure all work meets 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and complies with health & safety standards ✅ Conduct site audits and quality checks, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and NICEIC standards ✅ Provide technical support and guidance to the team, troubleshooting issues where needed ✅ Liaise with clients, housing associations, and tenants to coordinate work schedules ✅ Maintain project documentation, including risk assessments and method statements ✅ Ensure timely completion of works within budget and project deadlines Requirements: Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, AM2) 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent) JIB Gold Card (preferred) Previous experience supervising electrical teams on social housing contracts Strong understanding of electrical compliance and NICEIC regulations Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer? ✔ £42,000 salary ✔ Company van fuel card ✔ Permanent, full-time position ✔ Stability within a well-established electrical contractor ✔ Career progression opportunities
