Asbestos Analyst

Asbestos Analyst - Glasgow Based We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Analyst to join our clients team. This role involves conducting air monitoring, clearance inspections, and sampling to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Perform air monitoring, clearance testing, and four-stage clearance procedures in compliance with HSE guidelines. Conduct asbestos surveys and bulk sampling where required. Produce detailed reports and certificates using industry-specific software. Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company procedures. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies professionally and effectively. Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Requirements: BOHS P403 & P404 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification – essential. Experience in asbestos air monitoring and clearance procedures. Strong understanding of HSE guidance (HSG248) and industry regulations. Full UK driving license (essential for site travel). Ability to work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours work
