Building Surveyor Location: London (Hybrid Working) Salary: Competitive Bonus Benefits A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy seeks Building Surveyors at various levels to join its expert team. Specialising in high-risk buildings across residential, mixed-use, and education sectors, this firm provides top-tier surveying, engineering, project management, and fire safety services across England and Wales. The Role Building Surveyors will work across advisory, consultancy, and project-driven services. Responsibilities vary by level: Senior Surveyor / Associate Leading projects as Contract Administrator or Project Manager. Managing projects valued between £500K - £6M, including façade remediation, renovations, and refurbishments. Delivering defects diagnosis, planned maintenance, party wall matters, reinstatement cost assessments, and general consultancy. Knowledge of JCT contracts is essential; NEC contract experience is beneficial. Opportunity to lead a team of four surveyors. APC Surveyor Minimum two years’ experience and actively working towards chartership within two years. Supporting senior surveyors in project delivery and consultancy work. Location & Flexible Working The role is based in London, with hybrid working and site visits as required. The Candidate Relevant degree in Building Surveying or a related field. Experience in surveying, project management, and contract administration. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts, procurement routes, and technical compliance. Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
