District Sales Executive

District Sales Executive - Whole of Scotland, minimum 2 days in the Glasgow office. Company & Role: You will be working for a global logistics company that provides a wide range of services to facilitate the movement of goods and materials across international borders. Some of the key services offered include freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehouse and distribution, supply chain optimisation, project logistics and technology solutions. Your main role as District Sales Executive will involve mapping potential new client accounts, identifying key decision makers, prospecting to them, securing either a teams or face to face meeting, where you can identify any issues in their processes, find and sell the solutions. You will be supported with referrals and leads. You may be required in the office on Mondays and Fridays for staff meetings with the remaining days on the road and working from home. Current Hiring Manager started as District Sales Executive and has progressed as District Sales Manager in 15 years tenure. There is clear route for progression and development. Requirements: · 1 years selling B2B services, open on industry / sector experience e.g. Recruitment Background / Waste Management / FMCG and Logistics is a bonus. · Experience in consultative selling, not price driven - need to add value in the product / service and have clear demonstration of doing so. · A new business/hunter mindset Benefits: · Up to £38,000 basic, dependent on experience. · £1k per month in bonus guaranteed for the first year. · £5,400 per year car allowance. · Additional employee pension contributions. · Private healthcare (comes with many additional benefits) · 23 days bank holidays and 26 days of WFH per year.
