Job Description

A Day in the Life Study and Scientific Solutions is a global Medtronic team that provides scientific support to all Medtronic Operating Units. By joining the team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders worldwide to develop or update both regulatory and marketing documents. This role offers a temporary contract, based in the Milan or Rome office, with a hybrid work model and minimal travel requirements (approximately 5% of the time). Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Developing and/or updating regulatory and non-regulatory documents Writing and editing manuscripts on clinical studies and/or scientific reports, including special summaries from raw data for submission to regulatory agencies or internal use, monographs, comprehensive reviews, scientific exhibits, and other medical communication projects Synthesizing published medical and scientific literature, clinical study data, or other relevant sources to disseminate evidence Performing literature reviews (both systematic and non-systematic) and related data extraction Compiling, analyzing, and summarizing additional data from other sources as needed. Required Knowledge and Experience: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field Excellent written and spoken English A minimum of two years of experience in medical writing The ability to perform literature reviews Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a global, multidisciplinary team Flexibility and proactivity. Medical Writing certifications, Project Management skills, proficiency in additional languages, and a background in regulatory affairs are desirable qualities for this role, enhancing the ability to manage projects efficiently, navigate regulatory requirements, and communicate effectively in a global healthcare environment.
