Site Engineer

Peace Recruitment has a great opportunity for an ambitious Site Engineer. You'll play a pivotal role in rail and civil engineering projects throughout Scotland. From planning and design to on-site implementation, you'll be at the forefront of turning innovative ideas into reality. Key Responsibilities: Conducting site surveys and assessments to inform project planning and execution. Manage and execute all setting out duties on-site, ensuring accuracy in line with project specifications. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Overseeing construction activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Providing technical expertise and guidance to resolve on-site challenges and optimise project outcomes. Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Proven experience in site engineering within the rail and/or civil engineering sector. Proficiency in setting out using Total Stations, GPS equipment, and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Why Join?
