Civil Engineer

My Midlands based client is seeking a Civil Engineer who will design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including the selection and sizing of equipment, calculations, and hydraulic modelling. Example of Responsibilities: Perform engineering evaluations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects, analysing data to identify potential challenges and areas for improvement. Work closely with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to environmental regulations and compliance with permitting requirements. Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in water and wastewater engineering through ongoing research and engagement. Essential Skills/Background: Extensive experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a focus on the design and construction of treatment systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure. Advanced proficiency in engineering software, including AutoCAD, hydraulic modelling programs, and data analysis tools. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes applicable to water and wastewater treatment facilities.
