We look forward to having you join our journey and seeing how far we can go, together Position Conferma is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial technology, procurement solutions, and experience working within the SAFe Agile framework. You will own the end-to-end delivery of Virtual Payment products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving the strategic vision of innovative Conferma solutions that improve user experiences and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Backlog Management & Prioritisation: Own and prioritise the product backlog with a focus on delivering high-value features for customers. Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and customers to translate requirements into actionable user stories and ensure a clear understanding of deliverables. Contribute to backlog refinement, ensuring that the backlog reflects up-to-date priorities and business objectives. SAFe Agile Framework Implementation: Operate within SAFe Framework, including participation in PI planning, sprint execution, and backlog refinement sessions. Support Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to ensure smooth sprint cycles and timely product deliveries. Assist in tracking key metrics to assess the health of product delivery and ensure continuous improvement Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, UX/UI designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to clarify and elaborate requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications. Regularly communicate product vision, priorities, and progress with stakeholders, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams. Act as a liaison between technical and business teams, helping bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. Feature Delivery: Support the development and delivery of product features, ensuring alignment with the strategic roadmap. Continuous Improvement: Actively identify opportunities for process improvement, product enhancements, and optimisations in both the product and development lifecycle. Contribute to fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Technical Acumen & Problem-Solving: Work closely with the development team to ensure that features are developed to specification and are scalable. Analyse and solve product-related challenges, using data and feedback to make informed decisions. Key Qualifications: 3 years of Product Owner experience in fintech, procurement technology, or related fields. Experience with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies, including participation in PI planning, sprint execution, product delivery and backlog management. Knowledge of financial services, payments, and procurement industry solutions. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively across teams. Technical acumen to communicate effectively with development teams and ensure successful implementation of product features. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to align stakeholders and development teams on product vision and roadmap. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Functional focused mindset, with the ability to translate functional needs into technical requirements. Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and deliver on time within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: Experience working within procure and pay technology platforms. Certifications in SAFe, CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), or related Agile practices are highly preferred. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (Masters preferred). Compensation?
