Poltrona Frau R&D Substrate Specialist - Interiors in Motion BU Business Functions: RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT Locations: IT - Italy/Macerata The R&D Substrate Specialist will join a team in charge of the development of substrates. Main Activities Technical referent for customer engineering dept. during RFQ and launch, and during pre-feasibility study, providing support to customer dept. Technical referent for supplier engineering dept. during RFQ and launch, and during pre-feasibility study, providing support to supplier to guarantee customer targets. Helping to manage the substrate supply chain and defining sourcing costs. Supporting Project Managers for all issues concerning substrates. Working in Cost Reduction team throughout the project life period to optimize supply chain costs. Experience and Education Technical Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial/Interior Design preferred. Proven experience of at least 5 years in Tier 1 technical office supplier. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent knowledge of Catia, Solid Works, and Autocad. Excellent English (written and spoken). Technical and Soft Skills Self-motivated and self-directed. Interior design savvy. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written). Organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer relations skills. Team player. Ability to manage time and prioritize work. Oriented and proactive approach to achieving goals. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
