Head of Financial Reporting

Cedar is currently partnered with a global, PE-Backed, Professional Services Business to secure an Interim Head of Financial Reporting based in Central London. The role is a 12-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £700-900 per day. The Company This rapidly growing business has been a dynamic and challenging entrant into the Consultancy market. The Role As Head of Financial Reporting, you will cover: Lead preparation of annual statutory financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries, overseeing audit and analysis. Lead the Group consolidations, proactively addressing reporting issues. Provide technical expertise to business units on revenue recognition, leases, acquisitions, and more. Prepare monthly/quarterly consolidated financial schedules under IFRS for internal and shareholder reporting. Coordinate with financial reporting teams of subsidiaries globally for timely information. Review recurring journals, intercompany balances, and month-end reconciliations for holding companies. Review accounting adjustments for local GAAP translation to IFRS, including revenue recognition, derivatives, software capitalisation, and fair value adjustments. Drive process improvement initiatives within the Finance function. Your Profile You will ideally have: A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)· Previous experience with IFRS reporting, liaising with external audits. An ability to deliver controls and compliance reporting. Experience of managing relationships and working closely with other departments Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary. The rate of £700-900 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
