Job Description
Dalkia UK have a great opportunity for a full time, permanent Account Manager to lead our new contract covering London and Oxford. You be the Dalkia contract lead for all day-to-day activities. To be the principal day to day point of contact with the Dalkia clients. Hours of work 37.5 Hours Monday to Friday in a hybrid working model. Responsibilities The Account Manager will be responsible for managing key relationships with clients, external stakeholders, school leads and the academy management team in the provision of facilities management services that fall within the Dalkia areas of responsibility. They will have responsibility for managing a mobile team of operatives supporting the schools, ensuring the sites are fully resourced to enable optimum performance against key KPI's, the relevant output specification and the academy requirements. They will provide support for auditing, people management, client relations and various administrative requirements, and will ensure the sites operate in a safe and sustainable manner in alignment with legal and statutory compliance regulations. They will deliver a sound commercial return to the business. Requirements: Job Specification Management, supervision, liaison, and control of the Dalika delivery team to ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures, which include but are not limited to Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Procurement, British Standards, CDM regulations and UK codes of practice. Develop and maintain effective, strong internal, supplier and customer relationships to reduce commercial risk and to maximize future business opportunities. Develop effective working relationships with sub-contractors to ensure their outputs are managed in accordance with business needs and agreed KPIs / SLAs. Provide tendering facilities for materials or extra works projects to suit client requirements, liaising with the appropriate internal departments and service providers. Carry out regular site safety audits, report on observations, investigate anomalies, review risk assessments, method statements and COSHH assessments. Compliance with the client / Dalkia contract agreement in relation to; child protection, H&S, Sustainability and Security requirements including management of directly employed, specialist service providers, temporary and contract staff. Ensure all works delivered are compliant with all applicable statutory standards, legislative requirements, and other regulations / guidance as applicable to the nature of the customers estate. Attend meeting and provide regular reports in alignment with the contract reporting requirements. Complete annual Performance & Development Reviews (PDR) for all direct reports setting out training and development programs as required. Must ensure all staff are provided with sufficient training and on-site inductions to carry out their role. Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager. Person Specification Excellent communication skills with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability to interface and communicate effectively at all levels, liaising with customer representatives to deliver working requirements. Customer and client focused with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to think strategically & commercially and to problem solve. High level of self-motivation, organisational ability and drive to meet deadlines. Flexible approach to working as part of a team. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise a challenging workload. Essential Experience of hard services management within an academy / education environment Knowledge & experience of building services and engineering contractual procedures. Proficient in IT systems and software applications. Ability to prepare management and technical reports on monthly basis or as required. IOSH Managing Safely or recognised H&S qualification, awareness of asbestos, legionella, fire safety regulations, COSHH etc. Experience in managing a portfolio of sites via mobile team, preferably within the education environment. Role required successful candidate to be able to pass requirements to achieve enhanced DBS clearance. Desired Have a recognised qualification or suitable experience in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or Building Services Engineering. Over 5 years’ experience within a management role. Good working knowledge of building M&E and fabric activities within occupied environment.
