Mechanical Engineer

People Group is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join the Natural Resources team based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham. Location: Twickenham, London Are you open to working away from home for part of the week? We'll cover the cost. Responsibilities: Technical assurance of Design, engineering, calculations, specifications Assisting with preparation of flowsheets and engineering line diagrams and supervising plant layout and pipework design including 3D modelling Managing the supplier/contractor procurement process from enquiry to delivery Site support during construction and commissioning including field engineering assignments Reviewing designs & proposals for conformance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and codes of practice Essentials: A HND / HNC or equivalent in mechanical engineering Experience of mechanical engineering in process related industries in particular the Water Industry; Sewage Works and Water works. Specific expertise in the design, layout, engineering and specification of process plant and piping for the Water industry On offer is a salary of between £45,000 - 55,000 per annum, car allowance, pension and 26 days holiday and more “People Group is an equal opportunity employer.
